This is my 95 Standard Shorty, i'm not sure if i'm gonna rebuild it or sell it as it is, some asshole stole it from me 12 years ago but i got it back 6 months later when i caught some little jerk riding it around town, they had changed some of the parts for crappy old stuff and removed all but the headstock decals.

Bit of a story here, this is my gen 1 STA, bought (by me, back in the 90's for £480 I think) from NonStop in Nottingham and out of the very first batch to come into the UK.

I didn't paint it flat blue or put the later decals on, Standard did. It was metalic blue but it's been back to them for a cracked downtube. When I sent it back I presumed I was wasting my time as even then it was quite old and I bought a 250, then when I got it back it looked just like this.
I then sold the 250 c/w the chrome STA forks and the gen 1 STA stem.

Nothing else is that interesting really;

S&M bars (c/w Dancing Man decal)
Profile cranks
Alex 48's
Primo Rod
GT seat and chainring
DK seat clamp
Shimano Exage brake
Snafu lever
Ruption sealed pedals

I used to ride it quite a bit before the Broadie was flattened, not that sure it'll get ridden so much now it's gone  :'(

I know it may be slightly bad form to resurrect old threads, so if this is a major faux pas please forgive me!  :knuppel2:

Thought I would get my Standards up here along with the other fine examples!!

Frame: 1999 21" Standard TRLS250 (original black with 85% decals)
Forks: Standard Bash forks
Bars: Standard 2 piece with super comfy deluxe grips
Stem: Standard (early example - decal only, has nothing machined)
Headset: Primo Gorilla sealed (bottom cup used on top too)
Wheels: Peregrine HP-48s laced to sealed Suzue hubs with 1.95 Primo Dirtmonsters
Cranks: Profile SS with hop-up kit
Sprocket: 43T Profile SS
Seating: Primo Rod, Primo Double Bolt clamp & Primo Hemorrhoid
Brakes: Tech 77 & AD990
Pedals: Wellgo LU-313

As with any bike I own this is a rider (currently my fav!)

Will take a pic of my set up 20" STA and my 21" STA frame and add them soon as I can....
