Hehehehe.......

Thought that might provoke a reaction from someone   ;D

I never understood the difference between snapping forks at the steerer tube and snapping a frame off at the headtube.  Either way you're going straight to faceplant.  All as I could see was a difference in cost.  Back then, £300 a frame or so?  Would have bought a lot of pitchforks......

I had one of them for a while, mainly cos BSD Grant told me it was good. It was a total beast, I didnt like the droopy wishbone and the dropouts were too big.

It wasnt THAT bad tho!

Stuart was riding a full on standard Lengthy at the worlds in germany in 94ish. He was using king forks and he folded the whole front end of the lengthy on the massive spine ramp. It was a time when braking bike parts was big news, but no-one seemed to make that big a deal of it. I never thought Id see an early standard frame fold in half like an 80s frame.

The Haro style top tube to wish bone really didnt help, I hated that. It looked like the back end of the frame was sagging. I also didnt like the massive wishbone at the BB. Oh, and I didnt like the decals but I was able to change them.
