Was that not Craig Strong? Looptail PK Ripper, used to like taking his bike to bits while on one wheel.....

cool pic!!!

and yes craig strong was the wheelie king
looptail ripper, homemade forks, and a FIXED wheel

he would do the wheelie striptease where his bike, um, fell to bits during the wheelie.
at one point he would be up on the headtube with a spanner

Nope  :(  I could still do that type of drop in, but not one handed one footed , up untill I stopped using a coaster brake when my graphite tuffs broke in June this year. The last one I tried on a freewheel resulted in me landing on my head at Redditch  :(
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Craig Strong, that right... I forgot about him stripping the bike down while doing the wheelie..yeah, that was dody even back then :-\

Billy, that drop in is a definate 'coaster brake' drop in. You were the King of those 1 hand 1 foot drop in's, look how your bars are crossed up, aggro man! Why don't you ask Pete Hawkings for a new coaster brake tuff  ;D

Anyone heard from Chris Young? The Crystal Palace King. I remember going down to Palace to those Fiberglass jumps / ramps.. wasn't that Chris's stomping ground? Both Billy and Chris had a lot in common..  both loved working with Pete Hawkings  :-\

I rode with Chris on his dad's Skyliners team - happy days.

Google Chris Young BMX  and prepare yourself for an interesting read...... :o

He is, or was, residing at Her Majesty's Pleasure under slightly bizarre circumstances  ;)

Don't remember you, I met you at Rom & Skaterham this year.
I used to live near Rob Bell & we used to ride all over the place, quite a bit at Rom, was there when Fiola was there too.
Anyone know where Rob Bell is now, havn't seen him in about 20 years.

Maybe a little later on from me then, I gave up quite early. I only remember Haro and Dominguez at Rom, when did Fiola go there?
