There frames where absolute bobbins. but the cranks where spot on they even ended up doing pinchless ones like profiles which where ok as well.

I got given a fishbone gyro once. I didnt like how it looked so I didnt use it (very wide diameter all the way round). The cables it came with werent like normal gyro cables, they had a 3 cable pinch bolt deal that looked like the ones you could buy so you could make your own gyro cable at the right length. I thought that I might use the 3 cable pinch bolt deal so I could shorten my upper cable. When i took it apart to cut the lengths down it wasnt a pinch bolt at all, it was a block to hold 3 nipples. The cables were all made to length but werent fixed together, just bolted together. After all that I didnt even manage to get any use out of the pinchbolt.

I have somehow ended up with a fishbone chainring. I have no idea where it came from and its still got the header card on it. If anyone wants it, let me know.

I had a fishbone "blowfish" freecoaster a few years ago.
Weighed about the same as a small country, but it did work okay.

I got the impression a lot of their parts were generic taiwanese types that were just rebadged. The internals of their freecoaster were pretty much identical to the original oddy freecoaster and the ultimate hardware freecoaster (sealed version).

it burns, it burns....................
my eyeeeeesssss
what i REALLY hated about the mid-90s was the absolute DOGPOOPOO that these generic companies flung out to try and make some money as BMX was on the come-up again.
Endless CRAP issues of ride full of bike tests of reeaaaaaaaaaly bad bikes that were like £400 and you wouldn't even pay £90 in motorworld for them these days.
The fishbone frame with the gusset like a windjammer frame plate (remember them, i think trevor cowell milked them) was the trough of egregiousness!!!!!!!!!
UGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.......
i hope no-one who thinks they've uncovered a stockpile of midschool gem parts gets upset.. but unless to be perfectly honest it isn't standard, s&m (at a push) hoffman  or for rarity value like early homeless or something, then take it down the tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
