My '82 survivor tuff burner
« on: June 09, 2007, 09:12 PM »
Got this yesterday...

Spent since yesterday-midday, totally stripping it down/regreasing & cleaning it up as best possible. Still needs a bit more elblow grease but it's at a stage where I'm happy with it.

I added a few parts like the snakebelly tyres which I think are a must on this bike, if you can get 'em that is, and other bits and bobs that were either missing or needed replacing... R-nut/ caliper retainers/ inner cables etc.

It's also a nice early model... oct '82, which is actually the month & year I was born, so also another nice feature about the bike.

I think it sits very well against my survivor Team Pro also... and almost identical in tems of  condition. :)

Just been for a ride on the tuff... and all mechanically sound and rides nicely. :)

Anyways... enjoy the pics, even if you hate the bikes.  :LolLolLolLol:

cheers
O

Survivor!

That tuff burner looks like a full on resto.

Love the way you dropped in about just sticking some snakebellies on there  :D ;D
