Someone done it on here, on the old site, to a Haro Master I think & I can't remember who it was, but he got the headtube machined out just enough to fit the 1" 1/8 headset in.
Then fitted new skool forks.

I may be wrong, but I am almost sure you can get a headset, which is sort of inverted; ie, the cups are the opposite way round (cones in the frame, cups on the forks) which does the job. I think I may have one, but NOT complete. I will look 2morro. Ad

It's no problem at all, as long as the parts are still available.....

You can buy converter cups to fit either fork into either frame.  1 1/8th forks into a 1" frame was quite a common job as people wanted the strength and clamp on stem option before having to upgrade their frame.

A ring around should see you right,  try Billys up in Cambridge - I think their distributor used to make their own converter cups.

Hope that helps  ;) :)

Don't forget to buy suitable bearings as well......

or you need to find some mid school 1 inch threaded forks with a clamp on stem!
like superforks or kingpins ;)

hmm. you reckon it might work then with loose ball......?  would have to mess with a few headsets to get the right combo, you would need 1 1/8" unthreaded headset.

would have to mess with a few headsets to get the right combo, you would need a 4" unthreaded headset, and a dooslem pin

i'm not sure i would, you know.
