Little JMC Beaut from the shed
« on: June 04, 2007, 12:21 AM »
Here's a little something that might be worth showing. I got this bike sometime in the early 90s, out of the back of a transit van for very little money. It was built up as a young kids race bike with skinny wheels. I stripped it all down and have been carrying it around from house to house for the last 15 or so years. I finally started to get the parts back in the same place and I want to get it built, maybe for someone to use at MK. I have got some dark grey Araya 7C rims and I think I have some early profile cranks somewhere. I have also got the Hutch pedals that were on it when I got it, I just gotta get some tyres and a lever.

As you can see, its all in a bit of a sorry state but I love it like that and dont intend in any kind of restoration before I get it ridable.

Most of the parts were in a bucket for years ... a bucket that ended up being half full of water!

Does anyone have any used tyres I could put on it, prob comp 3s, but anything really from that time. I have got rims, a seat, cranks pedals and chainring so once I get tyres Im almost there. It would be a shame to use some copy tyres on it, but they dont need to be NOS, ha ha.
