Solid Dropout Skyway T/A
« on: June 05, 2007, 05:12 PM »
Well... Its finally built :)  Had some probs with the last few bits. The IRC Race chain i have was a wee bit short but fitted... just. This meant i had to swap out the rear DC MX1000 for a Bulldog i had. I actually had a 650mm mini brake fitted at one point  ;D
I had no front black cable so i stuck a red DC one on.  Anyway... i can tell you now... It Flies  :D   Cant wait until my Powerlite Pro bars come... it will feel even better then. The Koxx wheels are superb and roll on and on and on  :)  I will swap some other bits out such as pedals for MK.  The worlds first built up prototype solid dropout T/A ?   ???

I love a nice T/A. good job mate.  :daumenhoch:

My T/A 'freestyler build' should be ready very soon too. I can't wait to get out there and give it a run around.

£64 + postage was a bargain... they are about £3-£400 new i think.
They blamed it on their son leaving it near an open window....   Sad  :(   I will find another...though that was perfect...size and everything  ;)

Thanks for the kind comment Snav m8 :)  I Had to come up with something saucy to rival that Ripper you are building  ;)
