SE Racing Hauler Frame & Landing gear forks

Have the above as a rider/ thrash bike, trouble is don't like the forks they are to heavy. Would it be terrible if I fitted my prefered forks? Know would have no probs selling said forks but do not want to render F&F worthless, Just wanted to know your opinions.
