My New Project
« on: July 24, 2005, 09:36 PM »
At last !

After trying for at least 12-18 months I have obtained a new project. It's a (Sept. 83 , frame no. starts 983 ?)  GHP Pro that a good mate of mine raced from 83/84 - 86. It has'nt been used for approx 19 years and needs restoring so here begins my first serious resto project.

Cheers Sub ,

I've been told that a guy called Mario on osbmx has done repro chrome/lined decals for these , did you get repros and were they from him ?.

Your GHP looks sweet , Any help on finding bits would be much appreciated.

yes - the decals on my GHP are Mario's - he is MS4962 on www.os-bmx.com.

Any help I can give you, let me know. Just dont ask for Star Bars!!!

If you ever get fed up with it, let me know. I would love to build another one.

Got two on the go. Need forks for both. (But that's another story LOL). Thinking of putting different forks on them untill I can get my hands on some originals. Suggestions on what type welcome.

What GHP's are they? What year? Post a pic?

I can give you any advise on getting forks, except patience. You've not made it easy for yourself, but its a bigger challenge to overcome. Good luck to you.    :)
