Another Leary for the oss
« on: May 30, 2007, 09:48 PM »
Heres another Turbo which i finished today . I know its far from original but the frame was in such a state that really it needed re chroming so i decided to spray it black and fit a new sticker kit . I will now most likely be riding this in the old school series to try and preserve my other survivors before they get any worse . Will hopefully give it a blast at Dagenham tomorrow night for a bit of gate practice to see what shes like.

See Mark you didn't waste your day off after all.  You might not have got your gates at Hersden today but at least you've got a spare bike for the carnage in the OSSS!!  Humps

Yes mate and he did warn me it was in a right state and he wasnt wrong . Even the powder coaters didnt want to touch it as the chrome was flaking so bad , but i spent a couple of hours with a da sander and some 80 grit and it done the trick  :daumenhoch:

How DO you get away with all these early finishes Mark??  Ah yes, "sorry luv, the adhesives going to take a few hours to dry so I'll be back in the morning"  and aside "that'll be at about 10:30 cos I can't be ar**d to get out of bed"   ;D ;) :D Hope you got some good 'practice' in tonight.  I'll watch for the pics of you and Spillers#1 putting in some serious talking!!   :LolLolLolLol: Humps  >:D
