I had my e-mail a few weeks ago telling me I was one of the first 100 and if I wanted the F&F's, sent my e-mail to say YES PLEASE and haven't heard since.
I thought we might have been asked for a deposit as the F&F's should be ready at the beginning of June which is only a week or so away.
Does anybody here know what the score is?

i thought it was gonna be a new school remake. the fact its just rrewelded tubes makes it no different than a original one except being mint i suppose.

i personally think the spec is a bit shite considering... and its just a cash in, but if you really want one now, he is the man!

Hey guys...!
We are not taking deposits just yet. I'm not going to ask anybody to pony up a deposit until Skyway gives me a production date for the framessets.
Skyway no longer employs welders, as all of their manufacturing in-house these days do not require one. They have been checking on reputable welders in the California / Oregon area trying to get this sorted out. I know that I can get Greg Esser (original MCS owner, former Skyway rider, and 1st NBL #1 pro) to do it all, but he's here in Florida, and Skyway wants to do their own QC checks on all of the frames, and shipping everything back and forth would be expensive!
The last I heard they were talking to Mike Devitt about getting the job done. Whoever takes on the job will no doubt do a GREAT job, but it's taking a bit longer than what I am liking to find just who is going to do it.
Between my work duties, and caring for my 14 month old, I have been slammed! There is a nice long list of people who want frames, and I have not yet crossed off anybody that has not yet responded back to the initial email that was sent last month. I WILL come up with a revised list after I get back from Rockford. People have moved up on the list, but nobody has been informed of it just yet!

And just another thing... this project is just the first one of three that we are working on. The other 2 frames have a tentitive 2008 release will be a modern size / geometry RETRO 20" and a 24" frame.

THIS project is the Original Skyway T/A using original T/A tubing from the early 80's.
