Handlebar advice please......
« on: May 28, 2007, 01:33 PM »
I have a 1984 Chrome Skyway TA and hoped you guys could please give me some advice on some new bars.  Its built as a race bike rather than freestyle and currently has a pair of chopped down GT cruiser bars (it was like it when I got it).  Please can you guys advise me on what bars would look good and be of the period.  Budget is less important getting the right thing is.  Oh and let me know if a pair of chopped sown cruiser bars are any good for any of you!!!

Also I posted a wanted topic for some new rims but its dissapeared so PM me if anybody has a set of Chrome Ukai or Araya's.

Cheers

GT Pro Race bars, Powerlite, CW's (don't like them myself), Skyway Race Bars, pretty much any pro sized bar would look OK  :daumenhoch:

You can't go past the GT pro bars in my mind. Maybe JMC DY bars. I have both (had JMC's) and they are both great.
Or you could buy some Stainless JC copies!

CW's or Skyway race bars. The latter very rare though.  :daumenhoch:
