well a poxy wet day is not all bad when you have charlton, a very special place thats a godsend when

the weather is like today

nice turn out with a few rad members young and old. sorry for some fuzzy pics,

my camera deosn't work well indoors

some superb riding going down and a great chilled atmosphere

a big up to young stevefish for pulling his first bar spin over the spine

also nice to see s&m alex ride and showing everyone how it's done, has got so many tricks

and smooth as

so first the oldies and meddle first his riding is coming on loads

last rads little billy-bmx, i'd say it's the best i've seen him ride charlton

he is so close to pulling a tailwhip air

cool sesh, everyone was riding real well, nice to meet alex who has some great tricks - framestand icepic

the younguns i brought up from brighton thought alex was a youngun

the real younguns were pulling loadsa different stuff aswell

Thanks loads to Dan and Rob (and everyone there) for letting me come ride the ramp, it was great to meet a few more radbmx members. It was a really good session, always a treat to see people ride and push themselves.

I have been longing to ride that ramp for ages, its very nice. Not to high but not mellow at all. I would love to come again, but im not that keen on the 6 hours in the car (2 1/2 there, 3 1/2 back) that it took for 2 hours riding. Still, I would def do it again if I have 8 hours of a rainy day free again. Id like to hit a few more tricks on the spine, maybe even put 4 pegs on, but for now I was well happy with today. I didnt even know Dan was taking many pics. Im pleased my tyre stand, can can, 80s kickturn icepick was got cos its at home on this site. Oh, and too right Im an 'Old one'. After 2 hours riding I was struggling to keep hold of the bars!

surley there's more to rad then arguing over politics, today was about young and old

Too right Ratty, that BMX track stuff was a little strange ... even before you 2 started leaning on me!

Funny thing is, that is pretty much the last time I rode! It was great to be riding again today. Cant wait to go back to that ramp again.

Alex, you need to ride more, give the young ones a chance to learn from you, Billy and Rhys are going great and the progress since I started watchin them is amazing, with you riding with em, they may just take up the challange

Too right, but with young kids, you gotta do what you gotta do. Hey, Im riding more now than I was a year ago. Its getting easier all the time. All I gotta do it get a job that pays enough so my wife dont have got work .... or she gets one so I dont have to!
