cant answer your question but i do know that my ones from bitd (91ish) have got the little lock out button thing and the ones that are available now dont have.

I think the Tech77 has the button and Tech7 does not, but we all call em tech77s......

Must have been first released in the late 80s, I had them on an old GT from around 87-88 summat like that.   :)

Ok thanks, Iv got two sets of 77s with buttons, but I need something for a 85 Trickstar, it came with ACS levers, but there a bit past there best.
