sorry but i couldnt resist,

whipperman make a titanium chain, i've very nearly bought one off the dreaded bay,

i personally dont think it would work for me, titanium is a fantastic metal for some things but the extra flex and give of ti in a chain could be dodgy!
the hard steel of a regular chain is probably safer,

breaking a chain sounds fairly minor, but its alot worse than it sounds, last one i snapped cost me three broken ribs, it went as i put full power on the drive train!
i'm running a kmc 710 sl chain , its tough but fairly light(light chains? wtf? :police:) comes in a titanium nitrided version and it doesnt cost £200

like the new "tarzan swing" as a kid ,
i'll run one if it holds up, but i aint going first!
