Right guys, both me and Sue attended the south meeting today.

We have been given a schedule where we are required to help.

The slots are: -

SATURDAY

2pm - 4pm

Track
Pens
Refreshments

SATURDAY PM OOPS NO CLIPS 2007

7pm - 8pm

Refreshments

MONDAY

12pm - 2pm

Pens

Guys, Saturday should be OK as me, dave and Sue will be there.

I know some of you guys are lookin at coming down, it would be great if some of you could help out as the Region could potentially win £1000 for running the best national.

Please let me know asap if you can help out, i'm racing Sun/Mon so thats me out but i will be helping Sat.

Right i'm gonna get on my soap box with this one

Can i make the point lads that so far we've had 1 offer of help out of all you OSSS riders, the region and others have welcomed us in for the SS races and it's time for you lot of old Gits to give something back.

At the moment we have only Dave, Sue and me to cover all of the below, Im racing but will have to forefeit practise sat to help, i've palmed me kids off to other families so i can try and cover shifts. Dave an Sue will struggle as well.

Although this is the regions responsibility to organise it has been split fairly across all clubs and Daggers have to come up with the goods.

I do appreciate that some of you may be helping via your own clubs but those that aren't should try to help.

We still need helpers for Sat Day, Sat PM and Monday.

And if you dont help pick a berm at Hersden

Wow, fighting talk!! Unfortunately the fact is that there are likely to be very few riders at National level from BADBMX and even less from my new club East Kent, so the request from UB is somewhat flawed if each of these clubs are expected to field loads of volunteers. I'm debating going on Sunday only as James has expressed an interest in racing - his second National in almost eight years of racing cos as everyone knows "we don't do Nationals!!" Whilst I would love to watch James racing I suspect that if I do attend I will be roped into an activity away from track view as my BC licence doesn't qualify me to officiate at National level. However, if I go, I will do my bit to support the mighty SOUTH's National which will be the best National event of the 2007 calendar!! And if James does well I might, just might, take him to P'boro later in the season. By the way, it's no secret that I'd rather go to the FIA Main Event at Santa Pod next weekend but might get up there on one of the days if the weather looks good. Humps

appreciate that matey but it is a region that has kindly supported the OSSS, i mean how inconvenient, help out for an hour then hit the beach, we aint askin too much of these boys imo

appreciate there's travel involved but it's to support the region that supported us
