aero reflex headset help!!!

hi all, i bought a new headset to fit on my aero reflex, but to find that this was in place and i cannot get it out it seems to be a metal cap and in the pic u can see my fingers holding the rubber up . the original is this rubber one, which is not good. could any1 help me or tell me what to do??

Watch you don't slip with the 'Metal Hammer' as you might hit something and it will go 'Kerrang' and your fingers might end up 'Raw'!!

Hi os-crazy :daumenhoch:  Have you got anymore pics, headsets are a real nightmare :(

My Reflex was my first build and that was the most difficult part of the build.

hi thanks for all the replies. i didnt slip the hammer and there is no damage to the frame or myself. by the way beard i like those decals, where could i get a set made . obviously not the same but similair.thaks

oops forgot pics. :-[  here they are any way. just taken it 5 mins ago.
havent actually put my headset on yet, but i have a sugino crank, suntour stem in black arriving soon, a suntour seat clamp, and odysseyy seat post. comments welcomed, cheers.

Is this your first o/s build? I think they're a good starter to get back into the scene and are a decent frame. Did you get forks  with the frame?

Can't go wrong with sugino and suntour parts :daumenhoch:........although I had an Odyssey layback and bent it right back at one of the meets, so now use a Renthal layback, much stronger.

Put the Reflex togethe and learn from the build. Then ride it like a bike is meant to be. Show bikes are nice, but you cant ride em'.

Relfex's are little beauties so enjoy it.   :daumenhoch:
