first check bearings and cups are located snug in bb.
then loosen crank arms a tad, then re try.
also check chainring is not bent or of line
and a tad of grease on spindle

I had the same problem on a set of New School flight cranks. I stripped them down 3 times (including bearings and cups) and regreased them before putting them back together, each time the creaking never went away.
Stripped them off completely and put them on a different frame, no creaking what-so-ever
Anyway, try stripping and re-greasing. Should work, if it doesn't you'll have to live with it I'm afraid

You could also check the frame around the BB.

you can always make shore your your bearings have no play in them.
and you dont have a tight spot on your chain

Primos are a pain in the arse for creaking, when they start it is hard to stop. If they are old and used you might not be able to stop it. But Iwouldnt put grease on the square shaft but clean the square shaft and square crank hole with a degreaser making sure they are spotless then put them back together, the only grease I would use is a bit on each thread to help cinch them up nice and tight. Tighten up the end bolts first then tighten up the clampbolts second, This might help but if they ar old and worn you may never stop it.

any metal mating surfaces that meet will req' a little copper slip grease or they will creak.
every set of three piece cranks ive owned creaked unless they were lubed

Yip. Coppergrease all over the shop, jobs a good un.
Although, I do know that if Powerbites have ever been run a little loose in their lifetime they do tend to creak thereafter and it's bloody hard to shut em up..

I had a sealed bottom bracket for my bike and I'm pretty sure that the creaking it made was the bearings in the cups. I think it was a Tioga one and wasn't brilliantly made. The bearings really needed to be a light push fit in the cups but they fell in.
I got fed up with it in the end and went back to a normal one.

That sounds likely. All that leverage could easily creat some noise

Take off each arm individually:
- coppergrease and grease it up
- move it on 90 degrees
- tighten down the centre bolt
- then tighten the pinch bolts
- then loosen the centre bolt again
- then tighten down the pinch bolts again
- then the centre bolt again.
Should be sorted!
