Does anyone know what year GT Profile cranks came about? Thank you.....

I getting a bit anal about era correct with some bikes, I'm stuck for a crank for an 83 GT Pro, I know the GT Profiles are a good few years later but I might just stop fannying about and bung them on. Would anyone know the year that Profile racing cranks came out too.

I think it was the start of the 90's before they hit the streets, but could  be wrong!
