Superfly Paul's day out
« on: May 06, 2007, 03:29 PM »

Yesterday me & Superfly Paul went down to ride the Proper ramps.  A lovely day out and some good riding.

I'm no SuperbikeDan, but got a few piccys for ya.  Don't worry Dan, I think your job is safe...  :-[

well it's not a public ramp.  it is pretty much invite only.  he doesn't mind too much if you know him or go down there with someone who knows him.  he's told me i can bring people down there, but it's polite for me to let him know beforehand if its okay.

well what a day

absolutely off the hook.

and yes it does bite !!!!
check the first 30 or so seconds

it can get a little hectic in there but it is an awsome place to spend a day getting lost.

only got half downloaded will post the rest when i sort out the upload

cool vid...  watching that does makes me think that i could have done better, but i guess it was first time back on my bike after my crank snapping incident and we had only just stuck the new arm on and it wasn't even on properly. next time, i'm gonna push myself further....

paul, i remember you saying about how a lot of injuries happen right at the end of the session only a few days ago.

well remember the slam i took messing around at the end doing a bit of flatland.... in particular when i tried a trick which i already said needed a front brake, but tried it fast anyway in the hope i could get away with momentum taking it's place.  well i fell on my finger and said it hurt a bit. well this morning the pain was twice as bad, my finger was all swollen up, twice as wide and it wouldn't bend.  i couldn't grip my bars this morning, hence i forfeited my rom session today.  i'm hoping it is going to be okay for legacy tomorrow night.
