But why is it worth the extra.

Is the azonic rubbish?  I'll pay the extra if I have to but need extra bits, knee and elbow etc !!

basically the azonic is a low range model .. would probablly be ok but the bell is one of the best lids you can get used by many pro vert riders and mx'ers so you know its a good lid

Flip me - are we up to 7 already!

Last lid I had was a Bell Moto 4 and that was after having a 3 for years!

Time flies!  :LolLolLolLol:

Try these mate.........
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx'modelID=7241

Or any of the 661 range.....there's lots of other fantastic deals on here too!  all of them are made to take a pounding on DH MTB's so they're all good enough for BMX mate!  :daumenhoch:

Got to agree with you there mate, my all time fav!

A word of caution there Flatcap..

If you're planning on protecting your noggin then a secondhand lid ain't really the way to go. If it's had one good slam  (which may not show on the outside), if you whack it again in the same place it'll transmit that shock straight through.

For sure, buy one to restore like a bike but for riding if you're happy to wear a fullface then go for a Moto7 or Arai VX Pro.  Spend the money, it's worth it  ;)

Guys,

Thanks for the comments.

I've decided to try the Giro.  I looked at the Troopers but just can't stretch to it !!  Hopefully the Giro will be OK  :daumenhoch:
