Raleigh Raider. Childhood replica.
« on: May 08, 2007, 11:26 PM »
Just built this up recently... with a very cheap resto on it.

It's the only one I've ever seen the 3 years that I've been into OS bmx, so thought I'd grab it and make a little replica of what I rode as a kid.

Thanks for the comments... was a bit of fun really... brought back some nice memories.

Zed, this has been brought up with admin via the mod section, so hopefully it will be viewed shortly & dealt with.

However this is something I've copied and pasted from the front page... may apply to you.

If you are having login problems, please email help@raleighburner.com (If you are an AOL user, try registering with a different email address, you can always change it back to AOL once you have completed registration)

If you want to get on soon as, then I'd set up a new username with a different email address... and then deal with the other account at your leisure. usernames can be put right, email address' can be switched... etc.

You will probably get the quickest response by emailing magburner (admin) direct on the email above.

---------

Concerning the mag burner bmx... I'm sure someone on the forum may have one. Is it the blue or white magburner ??

If white, I'd spend a little less and restore it... as all the bit's can be powdered white apart from brakes.

One of the easiest and cheapest burners to restore .

Yeah the blue mag burner... Would be a good buy for £100.

Unfortunately it's the scheme that everyones remembers so you'll pay a bit extra for it, it seems.

There is always a bargain around the corner. I know of an nice blue burner (spokes) that could be for sale... would need to trade spokes for mags though.

... all I can say is email him direct and ask if he can sort you out.... sorry can't be anymore help. Don't know my computers well enough.

Hi pickle, erm there are a few about. One recently which may have already been stripped. One restored... on waiting to be restored...

Was it like the ultra black or silver ??? I'll keep an eye out for ya ;)

The costs keep going up and down also... but probably around £100 o.k. ish cond. for someone who knows what they are selling. However it's all dependable.

I had a Mk1 ST Burner as my first bike before I got a T/A. I've been offered another one from someone on Raleighburner.com but he wants me to make an offer. I have no idea how much it is worth. Either in good nick, bad nick or whatever. No idea.
