did they make long ones? as in longer than those on the bay from vert-ego.

im sure ive seen them but cant remember where.

I'm not sure about fluted posts, but you can get fluted shims.

I used one on my standard for ages when I broke my post at a race and had to get another in a hurry that didn't fit.

yeah they did. got one and it's as cockeyed as fook, stick to the shorter ones i reckon.
