What bars are these?
« on: April 23, 2007, 11:31 AM »
Hi there,

im guessing a liot of 'ID this' goes on in here, so this should be a doddle for ya;

I think the stickers are just the free ones you used to get with Ride .

The tubing is all oversize, only tapers right at the end of the handles with means they are really wide and uncut.

They are really heavy.

PS: you can have them for £15 posted or swap for 2pc race/dirt bars in red/black.

Look like Dragonfly, good bars. Mind you there were a lot of copies floating about at the end of the 90's! They're probably more likely 4-Jeri.

The seatpost that came on the bike was a dragonfly, also there seems to be no cheap cop - outs on the bike.

So im going with dragonfly, do you have any idea on the name?

Id still be keen on the forks and stem (and maybe the frame) off that bike.
Any more thoughts on what you wanna do?

From the weight, build & proportions of them id say they were definetly branded.

they are capped, same as those black ones.

got the same bars myself, don't think they are dragonfly as they had it stamped on the crossbar. proberly 4 jeri 's or another copy, as YGT said loads of these were knocked out at the time. (not too bad bars though)
