Author Topic: Advice on selling my laserlite please! (Read 3740 times)

Hi guys, well unfortunately I have to sell my '83 laserlite to fund important housey stuff.
My question is are bikes generally worth more when they are split up (much as I hate to do it) as oppossed to selling them complete? i've never sold anything on the evilbay and would prefer it to go to genuine guys like ourselves. The bike is in very good original condition with original decals but there are a few chips here and there but it is untouched, the 400's are near nos, as is most other bits, it also has the laser bars. I've never seen a black laserlite for sale so wouldn't know where to start figure - wise, any pointers guys??

You are always gonna make more for a bike in bits.

Stick all the parts on the bay at 99p

they will make good cash and sell fast.

I would say thats all you need know!

Hi there! there has been a bit of a rush for the cranks! there are two guys with first and second dib dobs on them. The bb is a sugino sealed one by the way!
The pedals are not nos, the bodies have been highly polished though, the chrome is flaking a bit on the spindle, the cages were new from Biagio but one is a bit scratched now but nothing serious.
I'll keep you updated if you want as someone has asked for a figure on the complete bike.

Good point but I actually think that the master fits me better than the kuwy and it does get ridden often

I have got a couple of things onto ebay today for the first time! I have never sold anything there so was a bit confused! Now I know it's a piece if pi$$ the bike will be split up and be on there in the next day or two. I hate to do it but I just haven't the room for it and the cash would be very handy to be honest. I know what you are getting at when you say sell the master but the kuwy never felt right on me and the master is spot on so i'm going to have to base my choice on that!!
