I had my freshly powder coated white Streetbeat delivered yesterday and after following the advice in the decals thread stickied at the top, i've just put the decals on without any problems at all. I honestly thought I was going to screw this up as i'm 'not good with my hands', however, the soapy water trick worked a treat.  :daumenhoch:

I'm looking forward to this as it's my first actual build from scratch in over twenty years

I'll post some pics once the build gets under way. I'm going to need a lot of luck I think.

Cheers

I've heard a lot of people say that, it's one of the reasons I got one.  :daumenhoch:
mind you, i've always had a soft spot for a Skyway anyway.  :)

Pics of f&f with decals:

I know the decal set should be the purple/green ones but these fit the colour scheme I have in mind better.   ;)

Hope you like

That's good to hear  :daumenhoch: I've just got my Gen1 back from the chromers and I am crapping myself on putting the decals on especially the down tube one.  I might give the soapy water thing a go. I'm just thinking it might work different because they are chrome stickers?  Any one else tried it on chrome stickers?

Cheers
A.

That looks the dogs mate  :daumenhoch:  who did the paint job? was it Dan?

This an old picture of mine (not one to miss a chance) in the extremely rare Green colour  ;)
I built it up quite cheaply to be honest but it's a superb ride! and always gets lots of attention when i take it out round the streets.
It no longer has the horrible layback post!

Nah, Dan didn't do the paint job.

The inside of the BB isn't spot on.

I'm really looking forwards to riding this though.

the streetbeat was the first complete bike to come with the brake factory fitted under the bridge too.

I've got a feeling you could be right. Oh well, i'll keep them for the T/A build, when I get it...  ;D

Cheers for the comments, everyone.  :daumenhoch:

I've got the Haro Freestyle bars in white now and the Blue Tuffs to go with the Master. Also got some other blue bits and pieces, grips, seat, brakes etc.

Excuse the quality of the pic, the wheels are actually darker than that.

Also got the Tuffs to go with the Streetbeat too but i'm not going to post a pic of that until I'm on the final build and I have everything to hand.

It looks like the Master could be finished before hte 'beat is. All dependent on cash flow next month anyway.
