My first build HARO MASTER!
« on: April 23, 2007, 09:47 AM »
I know I posted this a couple of weeks back when it was not finished, its now finished & I'm on to my Performer next.

Seems like a lot of Haro builds have just been finished lately and I know loads of you will be yawning. But I'm chuffed with it ::)

I know its not what you call show bike standard, but I'm going to be riding this baby ;D (At least once :2funny:)

Thanks for comments, appreciated.

Zippy: That is a very nice build there, who did you get the Frame and forks from? Bought them off the guy who run's the UK chopper club. It was originally green.

Stripped it myself and got local VW garage to paint, then added an AJK repro decal set. Its cost me about £200 in all ??? When I bought it about a year ago, I couldn't find a white one for love nor money, even worse I really wanted an 84!  :-[ But there more than I could afford.

That'll be cool mate if you did a master very similar, have to meet up sometime, get a pic of a double jump on identical bikes ;D

Been out on it today, like I mentioned I'm going to be riding this bike, see pic of my framewhip attempt ???

Can you tell my missus wasn't really interested taking this pic :-[

Yeah I'm happy with the blue and white combi, the wheels sat in a bucket of blue dye for a week, came out  a nice deep blue.
Thanks for comments fella's and lady.

Once again thanks for all the positive comments, its always nice to know your build rubbish ::)

Just for information, if anyone else is thinking of building a similar bike from scratch, I kept a record of everything I bought incl postage on stuff from US. The total for the build is £490.34 :P I'm sure I could have managed it for less but in the end you have to way up how long with how much each part you want will be.

When I started out a nearly a year ago I thought this'll probably take a month

Really trying to stop myself from getting the BM bug to bad, was only ever gonna build one bike. Now i've got 3 on the go :LolLolLolLol:

So it's not just me then? Good to know.

I was only ever going to get one bike too.  :-\

Got three built bikes and three f&f now...

Still, I love that build.  :daumenhoch:
