The ripper i just bought from usa cost $145 (USPS) + $6 ins.
It needs to be stripped down (wheels, bars, seat off etc). Then you squash it all in a box!!!

However,if the seller wont do that for you, then you'll have to get the carrier to do it for you and i think that bumped the price up to about £190($300ish).I was quoted that price by fed ex...i think ???.

Yep, bought a chrome TA off ebay in America. Was posted using normal US Postal Service. I never got it. Was gutted. There was no insurance either. Took me 6 months to claim 75% of my money back through ebay claims.

I bought all my Hoffman stuff from a shop in Texas - they loose packed it into a box and shipped it via UPS.  I spent about $700, they invoiced me $350 (the tax and duty is then calculated on that amount  ;))  and I had to pay £50ish to the delivery driver.  All in all a very straightforward and painless exercise. Would do it again.  Always pay by credit card as then you can claim form them should owt go wrong... ;) :)

I got my 25th Master shipped standard, it cost about £60 i think, but it took about 9 weeks to get here, lucky I didn't get charged any tax on it  tho.
I always get stuff airmailed now, costs a bit more, but Iv heard so many stories of things never turning up on the standard shipping.
