Following on from RATTYS superb work in getting the Summer Old School Race scene up and running (sorry if i've missed out the others who've contributed) but we've all seen the videos and thought that we'd made the effort to go, or join in and give it a go.

Well it's comming up to round 3 of the superb OS series (which is really getting a lot of interest nationally) and Tonys been asked to sponsor/fund the Trophies for this round. (about £130)

So thinking about this over my morning coffee at work..........I think it would be a great idea......and great publicity and thanks to all involved if we as RAD members sponsored the meet.

So come on lads lets show our appreciation for the guys and put our name to round 3!!!

I'd like to think I could get to at least one round this year, but having read the Ratty thread I agree that it is a good opportunity to get RAD's name out there again after CIN.

Although racing is not my thing, i would be more than happysssssssssss to chip in a tenner or so to help promote RADBMX and sponsor this event.

This is a great community and I think that it would be good to promote us out there in the sport itself.

Come on you buggers!!!! there's more to RAD than just freestyle and Looking at pretty bikes.......let's get our name attached to the OS race scene properly.....after all it's where it all started BITD

If we don't sponsor this then Tony's going to have to fund it himself......surely we can't let that happen can we?? $:-\$

You guys on here really are the best. In previous years the RAD contingent have done similar and it's just great to see the smiles on the faces of the recipients, young and old, as they receive a trophy/medallion. If we get more than we need can we roll the cash forward to the second time we go to Hersden and cover the trophy costs on that one too?? Humps

ratty,have a look on ebay there are some cheap bmx trophies on there for under £3 each i used parts of them to make the cin trophies and are well worth the money

Great idea, but I think Heresdon has already ordered their trophies
