New track in Preston (pics)
« on: October 22, 2005, 04:57 PM »
Hi all,

I've not read anything about the track on here so as i went to look at the progress of the track today, i thought i'd post some pics for you all to look at.

A big thanks must go to Shaun Calvert for all the time and hard work he's put into getting the track sorted.

If all goes well the track should be finished in the new year. The club website is under construction, check out ;  http://www.scalvert.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

                                Phil.

Hi Scary,

The track is on London Rd, about a minutes drive from the town center. It used to be a dissused athletics track. Do you know Preston? "are you local?"

                              Phil.

Thats the place, The council are also putting a football pitch and a baseball field? there. Hope to see you there when the track is up and running. Do you ever venture to the Coppull track? I try to get there on a saturday afternoon when i can and weather permitting.
