Gyro cable
« on: October 21, 2005, 11:30 PM »
Hi,

Anyone attempted to take a gyro cable apart ?

I'm sure it wouldn't take much heat to get the cable out of the cast piece

OR, does anyone know where to get long blue upper gyro cables from. Long ones only seem to be black

im using a gyro, orgy type, and there aint no way to get the cable outers off unless, not if you want to be able to use it again after.
So i painted the barrels and used electrical tape on the cables.
If you take your time it looks good. You wouldnt know without getting very close.
Dont spiral wrap the cables in tape, use one piece donw the length of the cable, much neater.
Cheating i know, but it does the job for now till what you want turns up.
