« on: April 02, 2007, 03:12 PM »
built a number of bikes, all riders, but tryin to keep them respectable and ridable doesnt always work so i bulit this as my allround rider to thrash the norks out of. its built for purpose not pose value and it took 4 haro builds to build this one to feel right.

don't pull any punches....wadya think?

gotta thank sean for the custom gen1 coloured decs :daumenhoch:

Looks great though mate........as long as it feels good and you're happy with it...that's all that counts mate  :daumenhoch:

Meant to say....in the second picture it looks like you've got girly streemers hanging from your bar ends  :D

im not keen on standing gear and i mulled over whether or not to put them on it, but they are saving my haro forks from a pounding, and like i said this bike is what i hope is gonna get me jumping again.

Sell the Haro mate and get yourself a new school for jumping and serious riding........believe me, i used to try to ride my street beat until i had a go on Meddles newie.......that was it i just had to get myself a new school.

They are just so much better to ride mate, when i came home with my DK even the Mrs remarked on how much stronger it looked than the beat.

Old school for looking at and cruising.......New school for riding down the park and jumps  :daumenhoch:

You know you'll be doing it!  ;D

id throw up if i had to ride new school, can not get away with them, anyway, riding the old bikes is the only reason i ride at all, got a couple of mid schools but couldnt really get away with them, if i snap this then i may upgrade to an early midschool as my main squeeze, but i doubt it :)

sell it and buy a carpet!

only joking. i like it loads but  i still think you should get a new school. Ive a haro sport 88 in the garage, and it flexes like fook. no idea how  Blyther ever managed to air that thing.

nice to see you using it as a rider mate and not sticking it in the loft, i try and using mine even if it's just for cruising about on.at least the forks make it different  ;)

True.

All my builds will be riders. Great job on the build, mate. Not sure on the forks either. I might be more inclined to like them if they were white. Still, it's a Haro and that's all that counts.  :smitten:

got 3 other haros, and ive got the forks for this one too, but i fancied building something a bit more against the grain for a change, and a proper multi purpose thrasher, not a big fan of standing gear but i got them nos for £40 posted and wanted to use them on something, (will be putting white decals on them). All my bikes are built to ride as i cant see them just sat there, so as a result all of them have bits on that most would disagree with but they have to ride well and to me thats what makes them old school, i would have killed for a set of landing (not standing) gear for my GHP BITD, and i rode that with tuffs in the end. The whole bike cost me £193 (excluding decals) to build and thats with 182mm profiles. i might even race it at MK, i'll see how it behaves first :LolLolLolLol:

havnt ridden it properly yet, but it does feel good with the spokes on for a change and the wheel base is shorter at the front as there is slightly less rake on the LG's so it feels a bit more lively but with all the space on top that the sports offer, just waitin for a still sunny day to go up the track. The bars are fantastic, minimal rake,

the yellow haro was built up but im thinkin of gettin shot of it with the bars n crank
