HERSDEN...... THE POINTS AND RULES 2007
« on: March 30, 2007, 10:32 PM »
OK folks , here we go for the way this season works out, slight change to the points this year, nothing drastic, just moved every thing up two points, so that  all C and D finallists in all groups get points :idiot2: :idiot2:

THE FIXTURES

Monday April 9
Sunday April 29 (featuring Old Skool South Summer Series)
Sunday May 13
Saturday June 9
Sunday July 15
Sunday August 12

If any dates are lost to the weather they will be re-scheduled in September or October (keep checking this site). The 2007 season contains six rounds, but to cover holidays etc, this year it will be the BEST FIVE OUT OF SIX ROUNDS that count.

THE POINTS

motos 4,3,2,1
semi finals if required (not run offs) 4,3,2,1

A Finals 20,18, 16, 14
B Finals 12, 10, 8, 6
C,D etc Finals 4,3,2,1

So flyers have been sent out, newspapers have been alerted all over East Kent, the OLD SKOOL Southern Summer Series is in place, this could be the biggest and best season that Hersden has seen. ;D ;D ;D

SO WHO'S UP FOR IT THEN?

There's only one rule which Tony forgot to put down and that is that there's no rules. Just points.  :LolLolLolLol:

At Hersden you don't even need to be riding a bike to win a race. Now that's grass roots.  :LolLolLolLol:

I think there are at least four of us who will have to request that we be allocated races alongside much smaller, but not necessarily fitter, riders otherwise it will be a bit of a squeeze.  But that's part of the Hersden fun.  Small but perfectly formed.  Berm warfare lives!!  Humps

PS:  I'm getting vibes that a certain Mr Parsnip thinks he'll get away with riding OS.  Now, we need rules!!  Humps

Humps RULE 1.1 paragraph 3 states that no grovelling to get favoured motos will be considered (unless accompanied by a few fifty pound notes), but everyone else is right  no rules , just have fun ;D ;D ;D

Any berm you like at Hersden but I suggest turn 2 or 3 as it doesn't hurt so much when you fall off - believe me I've crashed on all of them   :(
