My mate Rory had a Decade, he used to get about 7/8 feet on it on the halfpipe at Rosyth back in 86.  Good bikes although that one was knackered.  Didn't they used to sell them in Halfords??

Cheers

the front is probably regular mongoose style
but the drops are different

it's pretty much mongoose geometry though
seat post bolt upright

Its the 87 Mongoose Decade pictured at the top of the thread, was mint green, then purple and now black.

Something similar to this:

but better.

Thats very very nice, nos too.

This is my latest project:

Just need some forks,  I can re-frame my lads bike now.
(he's riding a cheapo, long top tube halfords special, and is after a streetbeat)

I think this fs-1 will do him, with some white mags on.

Just got to get it over here 1st from US.

oh mate do me a favour and take some close up shots of those downtube stickers for me!! i need to redraw them.

here's mine so far. i have almost all the parts. i just got to polish a few bits, and build a wheel then i can assemble it. i could do with an old centerpull brake though

i had it powdercoated that colour

Im not sure which came first.
Had a look on net for mongoose decade & fs-1 details, didnt come up with much.

Ive only ever seen decades in UK, maybe fs-1 was US version?
Dunno Im not sure on the heritage.

Maybe some freestyle mongoose expert can fill us in?
