Re-sticking stickers.
« on: March 25, 2007, 06:46 PM »
Right then, my Quad resto is coming along and I was wondering about the best adhesive to re-apply a circular 'CW Racing' sticker to the handlebars.
I lifted it after warming with a hairdryer but half of it had been hanging off for some years and will definately need some more 'stick'

Any ideas as i have had no joy at all getting a 'new' one of these.

I'd appreciate any tips on resticking too, managed to remove some of the smaller stickers off bits without stretching or mis-shaping them, be good to restore and re-use without paying those crazy repro prices......

What about cleaning off the remaining glue and using double sided tape,  get some 1" wide tape and carefully trim it to the edge of this sticker.

I tried on a hutch sticker on a seat post, looked great.
