saw this colour scheme and remembered way back how much i liked it, made me want one bitd and now,
but were they any good ? as i never knew anyone that had one back then

That's so sweet - who's is the complete?
I always wanted a streetbeat as a kid, but no-one I knew had one either. I've had about half a dozen now and still have two (or three) but have never ridden one

Yeah, nice scheme that. We had a set of NOS grey Tuffs in the Barn...when it burnt down. They would have looked lovely on that.

lovely aint it, dont know whos it is, got picture off bmx museum, there was a complete just like it on ebay the other day, i think the reserve was £350,
has anyone rode one though ?

people still rode streetbeats way into the 90's
not on tuffs though
they are good framesets, and make a good rideable setup, if setup right

I used to ride my beat all the time (until i tried a new school bike that is) but still ride it when me and my lad go out for rides........i think they ride great! Meddle had a ride of mine at the last Epic meet and thought it rode really well for an OS bike
Cheap as chips as well to pick up.....Rude wheels do em raw for about £30!
