Haro fst chrome
« on: March 14, 2007, 07:25 PM »
I recently bought a 1985 haro fst in the states. Since then I have not seen another one in chrome, although I did find out that they were produced in chrome. Has any one else got one, or is this quite rare?

85 FST's came in Chrome, Red or White. No rear standers, FST's didn't get them til 87.

In my mind, they all had gusset.
The one in this ad must another urban legend as Dominguez single tube Sport pictured in the same era.

This chrome one is just plain nice, John  :4_17_5:

No one has found one yet (non gusset FST), until someone does we can only guess that they never went into production and the one wolfy found was produced instead , the advert mentions the gusset , so its a bit strange really.

I know that the frame is definately an 85 as that ties in with the frame number. It's just up until now I hadn't seen another chrome one, as it is I will probably e bay it in the summer (any more bikes in the garage, the wife will stop my spends)

yeah the one in the advert was a pre production,i think the main change was the gusset, and yes the first fst's colours were chrome, red or white
