YGT, you rode flat. I bet you took a pair of Peregrine Q'1s and cut off the lower bar to make some super low flatland bars! It was so lame that even the "BMX" companies didnt make the parts that the riders wanted. I bet some of you remember taking a new pair of Haro knee savers, laying them on the floor and stamping on them to give them a little less back sweep. Not only did  they come with an awful bend, but they were that crap that some fancy footwork could easly sort them out!

know what you mean alex.. remember being stoked to get some "REAL" BMX company part (a sport/tuffs/kneesavers/hutch stem) and them being no better than the generic stuff you'd been wanting to upgrade.. or it breaking/cracking/snapping in a week or two....  only excpetions were dx pedals and my first 48s...

I seem to think that was a bad batch, maybe even 'dodgy' ones. The early 90s Fusion-stickered ones I had  till about 2002 didn't suffer from too much sweep, and I don't think they would've bent unless two stampers were involved. They're still being used today by a friend's son.
About 1993, I was running GT 4-Piece bars. Very nice they were, too.

The ones in the pic have me stumped though, so nothing to add there other than they're not GTs.

Dan, the bars you are unsure about look to me to be exactly the same as a pair I had a while back - they were copies of standard bars, and were packaged as various brands, Pzaz, Blast but most commonly they were sold as 4Jeri [forgery - ged it?!] bars - good and strong, I sold some red ones on here a while back.
hope that helps!

Well... How about the kneesavers?
I'm not keen on the ones currently on my Haro, they're an older design. Strange for a bike made in '97, they must've raided the spares bin.
