SO WHAT IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA OF ITS WORTH??

there has been a lot of talk lately about "offers" now my personal view on it is, i really dont like it. i like the old fashioned way.
i have something to sell,
i tell you a price,
you tell me to knob off its to expensive
i lower it,
someone buys it!!
job done

but i do have a few issues. what if you genuinely have no idea of its value??
i in the past have put things for sale and they were snapped up in seconds. to cheap?? ??
other time ive just embarrassed myself buy totally inflating the value of an item
how about if you are unsure post up your item for a fair honest valuation by people that are
more in tune with the prices, id understand that it would be just a guide price but it would give people that had no idea a place to start..




for example:
there is a possibility that these could be for sale soon, but i wouldn't have a clue how much
to ask for?? ??
any ideas??

Pedals are worth about 15, not in the same league as the original Victors
Headsets are worth about 6 each, again not in the same league as a Hatta

if you cant beet them join them i was told off for voicing my opinion again against offers so from now on the game changes , ill try the offers thing

i reckon the best way is to look on ebay. find your item and click on completed listings.  that way you can see how much similar items were sold for.

depends if you want to get as much cash as possible for them or just make a couple of shackles for your trouble among friends , i reckon you could get £110 all day for the black headset (burners) blue a little less and the pedals who knows if someone wants them , but then again if you paid next to fook all you might want to be more realistic about the prices after all your among friends here

to me anything you aint got a clue with should be ebayed.
everybody has a go at it then and it will make the price at that time.
i fooking hate the offers thing.
why should i be the buyer and the seller at the same time.
if i'd had said that to a custumer a few years back when i had a light commercial sale pitch make me an offer with no price to go off i'd have been laughed at.
waste of for sale space if you ask me.

it seems to breed bad vibes ,But i suppose its up to individuals how they sell there own stuff

the thing about offers is it puts the buyer in an awkward position if they really want something they will bid over the odds to secure it, good for you but bad for them , thats why people ask for offers in my opinion , so they can ring as much cash as they can out of the object   just ebay it same thing but puplic

put them on ebay and let the vultures fight it out.and if you get offers never take them.let the auction run  e.g. i have recently sold 100 evo magazines for just over £200.some chancer offered me £50 and he reckoned he was doing me a favour ! yeah right ...
