What's going on with Dagenham council? a park and a track on the way? is it full of ex skaters and bmx riders or what?  8)

So we have the Heath on a Thursday and Rom on a Sunday. What day should we make our dagenham sessions.

This place is wicked, so smooth and fast, shame there was alot of dust there that made some parts a little sketchy.

My new favourite outdoor park , loads of possible lines when you don't have the kids snaking you!

A word of warning though, we was warned by a skater  that the local chavs who frequent the park are nasty pieces of work!

DO NOT go to that park by yourself.......  It's a cool park but it's rapidly getting a reputation - 2 bikes stolen a day on average is what I heard recently - so take care  ;)

We could always organise a session there before/after/instead of Rom one weekend?  Safety in numbers... ;D

Quite near where I live, but I couldn't find it due to sketchy directions so drove on to Rom instead that day.
From what i'm told, the chavs covered it in graffiti, which the council removed with a pressure hose. The surface ended up cocked, hence loads of dust.
Anyone get a Streetmap-type diagram on here? Wouldn't mind going sometime before it gets shut down.

My text molested by a swear-filter! The audacity!
Still, no point going off half-glockenspieled about it I suppose.

I know the guy how designed it , si skip, surely people have heard of him!
He's good mates and skate buddies with my birds brother, dave watson. Probably not heard of him yet, but you will.
Its a good park, but its usually full of 6-7 year olds, getting in the way!

Yeah, I know Si.  Good bloke.  Did a good job there I reckon, although he tells me there was loads of stuff left out and/or changed.

Hopefully the place will settle down and have a good scene - it's all about the locals - we'll see next summer once the novelty has worn off  ;)

The lads were saying that it had lighting till 10pm but the local chav's had smashed up all the lights.
