Old School Mountain Bike ??????

I was round my mates house the other night...              And noticed / Forgot he still had , his mint   1993 ??    Orange ( Clockwork) MTB..  I remember him buying it and riding it to the end of the road and back !     Before hanging on the wall in his garage...

I dont know anything about  Mountain Bikes  ....But One of the boys at work, has a MTB mag, with pics of a  New  07 Orange  (Clockwork) celebration model ...  Its  Orange/White , same paint scheme as my mates bike above..

So question is .......  Is there such a thing as  Old School Mountain bike?    And do you think a Mint  100% standard   15 year Orange with Original tyres etc , would be worth anything

Nah, but keep it because in 10 years time it may be.

I still have my Cannondale from 94 in the garage and it's tricked to the max so that's just waiting for the prices to rise.

I've got a DB catalog from either 85 or 86,it has what looks like a DB MTB in it,I'll find it & scan it for ya.

It may not be worth as much as a US Trick Star with Aerospeeds & Beartraps,to the right collector it may be though,old school MTB's are getting pretty hot lately here in the US.

Orange MTB's were superb,
i've still got my Kona from circa 1989, it looks really cumbersome against my os bmx's,
it must be worth at least a tenner i reckon !!

They are class mate back in the early 90's they were a must have bike  i allways liked kona's and i still have my 93 kilauea'not many original parts on it now 'they are all in the shed worn out '

i used to have a Skyway mtb in approx 1985/86.from memory it was grey/blue.still kicking myself for getting rid of it(dont spose anyone got any pics?)
