picked this up today..i won it of ebay..local pick-up only,which was lucky as it was only up road. :)









the bloke i got it from bought it from new,so one owner. ::)
from what me and 'nysoul' can see its got some good bits on it,havent study it properly yet.
skyway hot seat,dia compe seat clamp on the coaster,early haro sport frame,dia compe calipers/levers.mike buff acs z rim on the front..and loads of other bits i havnt checked yet.
when i first got there i tought they were dx pedals,but there only mx's :(
its gonna stay how it is just gonna give it a service/grease-up.
what do you think?...i love the way it looks catches the moment. :)

oh the bloke said he thinks hes got loads of rad magazines in his loft and possibly some other bits....hes gonna let me know ;D

£144 in total.cheap i thought

not sure what the seat clamp is...is it any good can ayone id it?? :-\

I was watching that and noticed it went really cheap for an '84 sport. Almost worth it for the MX1000's alone.

Yes I was on my PC at work looking at that & was going to bid, cos its well worth what you paid for it, I think the forks are from 85/86 tho, but still well worth it & I didn't bid  :idiot2:

yeah 'nysoul' (matt) noticed the forks were different,the stickers on the forks dont match the frame.

i was at work bidding for it expecting it to go for loads more than it did  ::).

its nice to find a survivor.
my last two bikes have been like this.
both one owner and been in sheds/lofts since stopped being rid.
its nice to have a bit of history with them.

to be honest I still havent been able to have a real proper look at it..but those rear stays are really thin....and from what i can remember i could'nt find a serial number anywhere and i dont think theres chevrons on the gusset.

ill have a better look when ive finished work today,ill get some better pics of it later and post'em up. :)

 ok frame number is T08840441 and deffo no chevrons on the gusset. :)
