Moody Dia Compe brakes
« on: February 22, 2007, 02:53 PM »
Heh fella's,

Need some advice please, I've just bought some moody MX brakes, copy of MX 1000's.

But I want to mod the front one for potts, the fittings are riveted in, (bitd weren't they bolted on?)
so after drilling them out, where can I get a replacement adjuster and pinch?

Try here, I know they are in multiple packs but they are cheap.  I have some of the adjusters that I bought from here, send me you address and I will send you a couple.

I do my potts mode like this

This way you can always put it back to how it was, no drilling needed  :daumenhoch:

Thank you very much for that kind offer of a couple of adjuster's. But for that sort of money I'll just order some.

I can't do what you've done on your 84 master?! cos mine our moody & riveted in, once drilled out I've nothing to refit them.
