component colour dilema

Ive built up my 81 supergoose with black parts, ive no purchased a set of NOS vinyl pads in Blue so its colour change time, id like to keep the black tuffs but will they work with blue components ?????? youre ideas arte most welcome, think of it as your second project lol. Im thinking exchange for blu tuffs or Arayas

if you want colour co then obviously blue wheels  but its i bike from the 80's and nothing seeemed to match back then
only the bikes you saw in shop windows so the  choice is yours you could always add black grips and or seat just to blend
at the end of the day its what you like the look of

why did you buy the blue pads?

there's some black pads on the bay at the moment which would be waaaaay cheaper than re-investing in blue components. having said that chrome with blue components looks way better than black imo. this really is irrelevant without pics so slam the blue pads on and post up some pics so we can perve on your goose  :coolsmiley:

If you change all the parts to blue i think you'll get away with the tuffs if you put some blue tyres on.

get a pic up with the pads on, you might get away with simply changing the grips and seat to blue to match the pads  :daumenhoch:

2 colours on a chrome frame work well. Especially with black tuffs.

well most of the black parts have gone, ive just bought some blue 901's see above i outbided a member off here :-[ i also have a chain and will have a seat soon. Im going gold,blue and chrome. pads are on their way in the post
