Skyway

Hi Everyone,

I am going through an early midlife crisis and i am only 31. I recently watched BMX Bandits on Sky. It has ruined me since. I have been finding sites like this and i cant believe that you die hards are still out there. I have become obsessed with the idea of buying the bike that i had back in 84. I am desperate to get my hands on a white Skyway TA that is a finished project. I havent got the time to put one together myself by buying bits from the net, although that is what i would love to do. Does anyone have any idea who i would need to contact in order to get one or is this never going to happen? Mine got stolen in 1991 and i didnt realise how much it has bothered me it until recently!!!!! If anyone can put me in the right direction it would be well appreciated.

welcome to Rad mate, a complete Ta will set you back anything from £400 up to 800. If you look in the for sale section on a regular basis theres usually one for sale on a regular basis. Good luck...

Was that a guess or did I tell you what my mark was?

Opps you fell for that too.

I'm 35 and bought Bmx bandits on DVD a little while back. I took a look at ebay and bought an old bmx magazine. That was the start  .. I now have built a haro 83 master, skyway TA and half way thorugh a Haro Group 1 RS1. I only wanted one bike. I keep telling the wife no more but i'm addicted like everyone else on here

You say you dont have time to build a bike, as soon as you start you wont have time for anything else !!
