It's a Motobecane MX400 :daumenhoch:

I had to get FRDavid to confirm it for me and he sent me some scans - thanks David

I know a Ratty that might be interested in the rear wheel or the rim at least.  Looks like a Weinman but a close match for the 7B he's looking for  :daumenhoch:

It's a cheapie I think as it has no stamping, but I'd only really be interested in a trade for a Mavic to match the front - how likely is that  ??? :D

I spotted it was a Motobecane straight away. They had one in the bike shop I used to work in when I was 15. I used to look at the double to single top tube and think how much nicer my sport was.

If you are after some of those mavic rims, I might be able to get some. Let me know. I think the ones I can get are darker but still a kind of grey.

I dont think they will be much. I just have a feeling that there are still a few pairs kicking about from back then (I tried to use a set for a while but the brake didnt work so I went back to chrome rims).

I will call up the shop tomorrow and see what they have got. I'll get them at a good price (cos I used to work there). I wont mark them up at all.

I'll let you know.
