way out of my depth here .got really rusty frame was chrome so pitted rusty and lumpy finish .how the hell do i get this to the smooth finish needed to powder coat please.my powder coater usually strips a\nd blasts frames but this is way too much to trust him to sort it outright .

if its chrome you can get it dipped this will strip and help a little then sand for a good key
etching primer will fill some of it then top coat /powder should fill the rest .or as superbikedan.  :daumenhoch:

well thought about sanding then more sanding but it is pretty damn bad .

Take it to the chromers and get them to dechrome it, this will also gt rid of the rust. Then fill and spray
