I NEED A IDIOTS GUIDE TO BIKE MAINTENANCE
« on: January 14, 2007, 08:29 PM »
is there something i can buy to work on my bikes?, changing tyres, repairing punctures and stuff is a piece of p1ss BITD and even now
but ive just spent 20 minutes trying to adjust my brakes on the TA and cant get a fookin brake at all - its got mx1000s on it - its got the quick release bullsh1t on the side - but its doing me head in -  :LolLolLolLol:

while we are on the subject of me being a complete novice TW4T has anyone got a picture of how a headset fits ?
ive got one for my ET that is in about 10 different parts in a bag - but havent got a clue how it goes on the bike

worse comes to worse ill take the bikes down halfords and let them do it , this is a embarrassing post so go easy on me fellas

thanksin advance Danny

This is a start Dan, I bought one of these a couple of years ago and it`s been a great help  :daumenhoch:

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Wow... that last set is awesome  :smitten:
I needed help when fitting my first headset in 20 years...
I found Parktools headset tutorial really helpful. I also used their crank tutorial when i had trubs removing my seized Turbo cranks... i even bought one of their crank extractors  :D
