has your frame got silver cups already fitted in the frame? in the bottom bracket, where the crank will go?
I want to touch ORB

ok, it goes like this

press cups into bb on the frame
then thread the chainwheel onto the crank, locating the pin on the drive side arm in the slot on the spider/chainwheel
then thread thick washer on to sit against this
followed by cone nut...there is two of these in a bottom bracket kit...only one will fit this thread, as its bigger than the other.
then one of the bearing race's
then theadle the crank through the hole in the bb.
then fit the other bearing race into the open side cup
followed by cone nut(smaller threaded of the two)
then the tabbed washer, aligning the tab in the slot in the thread
finish with the thin lock nut(there may well be two of these, to be tightened against eah other)

oh...dont forget the grease

Dave

haro, how do you do

Definately do not forget to grease up or it will only cause heartache :daumenhoch:

Also if you need to press the BB cups into the frame  MAKE sure you use a wooden block to protect frame and cups :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

You will need the correct spanners as mole grips and stillsens just chew the nutts up. Trust me on that one :)
